DC Sail offers Washington, DC's first and only community sailing program. Our mission is to provide access to the water, regardless of means, by the establishment of a full-scale community sailing facility along the Washington, DC waterfront.

Adult Sailing, a program DC Sail, is a ground-breaking model of that goal. DC Sail, volunteers, and the community are currently working towards our 2010 goals of:

Increasing awareness of the value and potential of the Potomac & Anacostia Rivers,

Building a model for a larger full-scale community sailing center, and

Raising money and support for DC Sail's youth programming, bringing children from all corners of Washington, DC together to share in maritime education.
