History

DC Sail was founded by Thacher Tiffany and Ben Forman. The success of DC Sail and Kids Set Sail thus far is thanks to the collaborative efforts of the National Maritime Heritage Foundation, the Gangplank Marina, DC Parks and Recreation, Duncan Hood, Rich O'Brien, Alice Rivlin and Carl Cole.
