Our Structure

DC Sail is the community sailing program of National Maritime Heritage Foundation.

DC Sail is run independently to the operations of NMHF and is headed by our Sailing Director, Blair Overman. The sailing director reports to a volunteer Sailors Advisory Group.

The Sailors Advisory Group is made up of volunteers who dedicate their time, passion and skills to the organization. The volunteers work in teams to help accomplish the many tasks that the organization needs done. Drawing on the professional experiences of the many volunteers, committees meet to handle finance, marketing, fundraising, youth programming and adult programming needs of DC Sail.
