Weather
The rule for weather is: you never know what's going to happen come sailing time. With that in mind always plan on going sailing. We won't decide whether the weather is good until we are about to go sailing.

Whether The Weather
Rain - going sailing in the rain is totally allowed and in cases of drizzle will be encouraged. Keep in mind, it can be a "rainy day" and not rain at all when you go sailing, so don't get discouraged.
Lightning - we don't like lightning. We'll stay at the dock if it's anywhere nearby. Internet radar can establish whether we are at risk or not when there is a chance of lightning.
Wind - wind is the big factor. No wind and excessive wind will keep us on the dock. But again, the wind can change so we will not decide whether to go sailing until 6pm.
Wind Conditions
Light Air - 0 to 7 MPH
Medium Air - 7 to 13 MPH
Heavy Air - 13 to 20 MPH
