Registration

  • This registration is appropriate for Campers age 7-15 with either none or limited sailing experience. (No sailing experience is required at this level!) Please register and issue payment to reserve your space.
  • This registration is appropriate for campers age 12-15 having completed at least three sessions of Kids Set Sail or comparable (documented) sailing experience from another facility.

    Campers must weigh more than 75 pounds and be comfortable swimming while wearing a life jacket. Campers at the Intermediate/Advanced Level will be sailing double-handed (with another Camper) on our two-person Olympic Flying Junior Fleet or RS Fevas, which can capsize. Campers will receive Capsize Recovery training on the first day of camp. Instructors will not be on the boats with the Campers but close by in motorized power boats for coaching and safety.

Kids Set Sail is an educational program providing participants inspiring life lessons, while focusing students on developing teamwork, communication, decision making, responsibility and a love of an active lifestyle and sailing. Students learn and excel in a team-based environment through the sport of sailing.

*Please note ability to reschedule any missed class is not possible due to logistics. Before continuing with your registration, please assure that your calendar will allow for your child’s attendance for the full week. DC Sail does not offer discounts or refunds for partial week attendance.

Registration is a Two-Part Process. 

Step One: Please submit both the online registration along with full payment with a credit/debit card. Unpaid registrations will be automatically cancelled by the system after 15 minutes. Please make sure you have your payment information available at the time of registration to assure the completion of the online registration process.

IMPORTANT: When entering information into the form, please enter parent name at the top of the form. There are fields below on the form for sailors' name and age, etc.

Step Two: Launch, print and complete hard copy Registration Form.
