Join Us for an Evening Race
It's the Solstice Cup!
For active DC Sail Members who have registered for all or part of the 2025 Adult Racing Program, you're invited to join us for the latest race night of the year.
Coinciding with the Summer Solstice (June 21st,) we will be hosting a fun race night and look forward to a full fleet on the line.
When: Saturday, June 21st - 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Where: DC Sail - Diamond Teague Park Piers - 99 Potomac Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20003.
Registration: While there is no cost to attend, we require registration so that RC can set up teams for scoring and allocate boats. Both the skipper and crew must register independently. There is an area to include the name of who you will be sailing with if you know at the time of registration. If you do not have a sailing partner, RC can assist coordinating teams at check in. Racers are encouraged to determine teams prior to the day of the event; please email ccostello@dcsail.org with any updates regarding your sailing partner after registering.

Things to Bring: Lifejacket, refillable water bottle, snacks, and rain gear if needed.
*Please note that this event is capped at our fleet capacity and this will be a single fleet event without rotations. Registration is not guaranteed and spots are available to Adult Racing registrants on a first-come first-served basis. If capacity is reached, you may join the waitlist and will be contacted in the event that another sailor drops out.
**In the event of inclement weather or fewer than five registered boats, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the organizing authority.
